Product Description
MCLE is proud to present the 22nd Annual Paralegal Conference 2020. Led by a faculty of some of the most distinguished paralegals and attorneys in Massachusetts, this Conferenceis your opportunity to stay on top of developments in the law that affect paralegals, while continuing to hone your skills in multiple areas of practice.
This year’s Conferenceincludes sessions on block chain and cryptocurrency, contracts, discrimination, information technology, social media from inside and outside the workplace, and much more.
The Conferenceends with featured speaker Maura Doyle, Clerk of the Supreme Judicial Court. She understands the role of the paralegal within our legal system, having begun her career in a position much like many paralegals. Clerk Doyle’s responsibilities at the SJC are extensive; she not only controls the docket for our highest state court, but also administers the oath and guards the records of all lawyers admitted to practice in Massachusetts. She is serious when discussing the responsibilities of those in the legal profession, but also has a contagious sense of humor. She is a dynamic, engaging speaker and we are excited to have her as our featured speaker!
In addition to the plenary sessions, all registrants have the opportunity to choose two out of four breakout sessions to attend. If there are multiple sessions that you wish to attend, you have the option of watching the recording of the other sessions after the Conference!
