NOTE: The April 7 and 13 rebroadcasts of this program are full. Due to high demand, we have added another rebroadcast session on April 15. You will also be able to access the program on demand after April 7.For the last two weeks, the Massachusetts Probate and Family Court has been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic which is sweeping the globe. This has created a multitude of questions for families struggling with custody, support, and other domestic relations issues, which range from how attorneys should interface with the Court during this time to how to advise clients on how COVID-19 related issues impact their family.
Our highly experienced panel discusses the state of the Court, how to navigate litigation cases while the Court is closed, what other options are available during closures, and an in-depth analysis of the substantive impact that COVID-19 has on important domestic relations issues (custody, support, asset division). Our panel includes two Probate and Family Court Judges, the Essex Register of Probate, and a domestic relations lawyer.
