Post-COVID Employment: Remote Work, Office Return, Vaccine Mandates & Choice of Law Issues
The COVID-19 pandemic persists, having significantly impacted the workplace in many core ways; this new program focuses on the aftermath. The speakers debate issues confronting both employees and employers in a new work landscape with an unprecedented number of employees/employers preferring and requesting remote work while others are eager to physically return to the office and business as normal (as can be). Learn about the balance between personal and collective safety, and impact of compelled vaccinations along with choice of law issues for a multi-jurisdictional remote workforce. The faculty discuss, from both employee and employer perspectives, what steps we can take now to move forward in our “new normal”—a fundamentally altered workplace. Get essential insight into and suggestions for navigating issues that we continue to face as we mark the second full year of this pandemic.David E. Belfort, Esq., Bennett & Belfort, PC , Cambridge

Mastering Remote Productivity & Document Management Outside the Office
Recent events highlight the need for lawyers and their staff to access documents remotely. As a result, working with traditional paper files has become a challenge, if not a practical impossibility. Because documents remain the foundation of everything lawyers do, they must adopt workflows to assure that they can access, edit and manipulate their electronic documents as efficiently as possible. In this program, practicing attorney and technology consultant Daniel J. Siegel outlines how to organize and access data and information with ease, name files uniformly, and work with in-office and remote systems to assure that your documents are always synchronized.Daniel J.
