"I think that understanding structural racialization is one of the key issues for anyone doing civil rights, antipoverty, or social justice work in the United States today."

MCLE is pleased to present the 8th Annual Legal Services Conference 2021, which brings together the Massachusetts legal services community to focus on collaborative solutions to issues that affect low income and marginalized communities.
The past year has presented us with many challenges, and has awakened our nation to the harsh realities of racial injustice and systemic racism. How social justice advocates deal with the aftermaths of the COVID-19 crisis, which has disproportionately impacted communities of color, and the growing anti-racism movement will set the stage for years to come. The 8th Annual Legal Services Conference focuses on structural racism, how it creates and perpetuates poverty, how it affects our clients, and how legal aid advocates, pro bono attorneys and our community partners can work collaboratively to advance an anti-racism agenda.
MCLE webcasts are delivered completely online, underscoring their convenience and appeal. There are no published print materials. All written materials are available electronically only. They are posted 24 hours prior to the program and can be accessed, downloaded, or printed from your computer.
