  - Survivorship rights of tenants in common. See chapter 2 for a 2022 decision that involves a pending partition proceeding involving two parcels of adjoining land held by joint tenants, where one owner died, resulting in their estate seeking to enforce the performance of a then-pending purchase-and-sale agreement to a third party.
  - Keeping building insured. See chapter 5 for a note regarding G.L. c. 175, s. 99's standard form of policy, to the effect that "[t]he insurer cannot limit coverage to a scope narrower than what the Legislature envisioned."
  - Termination of tenancy at will. See chapter 15 for a 2022 case supporting—but not expressly deciding—that summary process is the exclusive avenue to remove the holdover guest residing in the premises for the previous eight years.
  - Condominium and timeshare liens. See chapter 16 for a cite to a 2022 case that discusses whether nonjudicial collection actions and protecting security interests by owner's association lawyers are governed by or violate the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA).
